4 Week Workout Plan For Women
Hi, I’m Aleks and I’m a personal trainer. I’m a down to earth person. I try to be real with myself and with my clients. I also try to make fitness simple and fun without putting make up and lights on and a fake smile on for the audience. When I train my clients I don’t make up the sessions in real time, instead, I program so I already know what we’re going to do to exercise.
Programming is important to match you overall goals, to have a framework that allows for the small challenges each exercise day to help you continue to improve. Here are some important points about programming (or not programming):
Random is fun, but doesn't help consistently changing towards your goal
Doing basically the same thing each exercise day, like classes (which I call Group Activities), help burn some energy and have fun, but again, don't consistently change along a path towards your goal
Muscle ‘confusion’ is basically an ignorant trainer trying to confuse you. Ignore the nonsense and go with what has worked from Olympians to everyday people for hundreds of years
Small, consistent challenges really are the best way to learn, and exercise is showing your body what to learn.
I don’t rehearse what I’m going to say and how I’m going to say it. I just go with the flow. This is how I communicate the Program to you.
My e-book: Let’s get started is exactly the same as my personal training sessions. I try to make them fun and simple to follow. It’s about you and me working together and everything else doesn’t really matter. I try to explain the exercises were going to do, and I do them with you. No fancy studios, no fancy outfits, just you and me working out together.
I’ve worked with a few hundred men and women, and you know what? We aren’t that different. What we are told is different. Women need bone density as we age, and guess what…so do men. Men need muscle and strength to help regulate their blood sugar, mood and endocrine system and you know what…so do women. We don’t have to look the same or do the same things but we do need some basics because we are all humans.
This ebook is designed for women to achieve better health and happiness while being both humans and women. That is, my book won’t lead anyone towards a male version of how to look or accomplish exercise. Just like there’s more than one type of car, we will focus on you as the types of car you might consider beautiful and just like there’s more that one road between New York and Montreal, we use a Program (path) that works with the many ways women navigate the world today.
Each week has a different theme:
Week 1 is learning the fundamentals of each movement and starting to think about what good and not so good habits affect your exercise and nutrition
Week 2 you begin to push yourself in terms of exercising (challenging your body) and try and add or subtract one habit that is helpful or not
Week 3 you push and challenge yourself even more and evaluate what your habit change did for - or against - you
Week 4 we ease back a little in the exercises, begin to think ahead about what has worked or not and consider a second or different habit going forward
So, if you are looking for a no-nonsense program that is easy to follow, with modifications available and created by a real person for real people this is it!
